The Bunbury Targa Rallysprint is a motorsport event where Tarmac Rally Cars compete on roads closed for competition. Cars start at 30 second intervals and race against the clock with the winner being the car that is fastest over the 8 runs of the Halifax stage - a 4km course comprising of over 25 corners.
The event attracts a wide variety of cars competing including classics like Ford Escorts and Mustangs, Toranas and Commodores to more modern turbocharged Mitsubishi Evos, Subaru WRXs, Nissan GTRs and Porsche GT3s. The nature of the event provide lots of opportunities for spectators to get right up close the the vehicles and competiting teams.

Spectators
Bunbury Rallysprint Stage
Spectators have access to seven different vantage points depending on stage direction. Spectator zones along McCombe Road are popular as the cars approach at high speeds for hard braking over bumpy road sections before clipping and two wheeling over kerbs. The section is also close to the service park, food and other ammenities.
Up Close
Bunbury Show'n'Shine
The Targa vehicles all assemble within the City of Bunbury for the public show'shine event held the evening prior to the RallySprint. Plenty of photo opportunities and a great opportunity for kids to get right up close to the cars.
Bunbury Sprint Service Park
Spectators are free to wander through the service park set up along side the streets of the Halifax industrial area. This provides up close access to the cars and allows spectators to have a chat with the competitors.
